Sheideh Homayon is a PhD candidate at the University of California, Santa Cruz, where her research focuses on wireless networks, medium access control (MAC) protocols, and network simulation. Her work centers on the design and evaluation of MAC-layer protocols through detailed simulation-based analysis. She holds a master’s degree from the University of California, Santa Cruz, and a bachelor’s degree in computer software engineering from Allameh Mohaddes Nouri University in Iran. Her research aims to advance the performance and efficiency of next-generation wireless communication systems.
