Prof. Jorg Liebeherr is a Professor in the Edward S. Rogers Sr. Department of Electrical & Computer Engineering (ECE) at the University of Toronto. For more than 30 years, he has conducted research in the area of computer communication networks. His current research interests include the characterization of network traffic of distributed machine learning and low-cost sensor networks for environmental monitoring. He holds a PhD degree in Computer Science from the Georgia Institute of Technology. He is a Fellow of the IEEE.
